Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Material Handler / Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and be willing to learn various tasks related to warehouse operations and machinery. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our production processes and ensuring that all safety standards are met.
Material Handler/General Laborer Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain various types of machinery, including saws, shears, grinders, CNC machines, stamping presses, and press brake machines.
- Operate seam welder prep station. Cleaning and deburring metal edges, verifying joint fit-up, positioning or tacking parts, and configuring machine settings (like speed and pressure).
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any issues to supervisors.
- Drive forklifts for material handling and transportation within the warehouse.
- Assist in the construction of wooden crates and perform material handling duties.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow within the manufacturing facility.
- Safely operate machinery and follow all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean work environment and always adhere to safety standards. Material Handler/General Laborer Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience operating machinery such as grinders, saws, forklifts, and press brake machines is a plus.
- Familiarity with machining processes, including CNC operation, is beneficial.
- The ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Must be physically capable of lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- A commitment to maintaining safety standards in all aspects of work.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work independently when needed.Material Handler/General Laborer Working Conditions
- Shop environment with temperature variations depending on season.
- PPE required, including welding helmet, gloves, and protective clothing.
- Overtime or shift work may be required based on project needs.

Material Handler/General Laborer Pay Rate:
$23.25-$27.25/ hr. based on experience and skill level.
Material Handler/General Laborer Shift:
3rd 8p-6:30a Monday-Thursday
