DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position provides clerical support, scheduling assistance, and record management for the Western Regional Office of Children Youth and Families. It requires strong organization, careful review of information, and effective communication with staff and the public. As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will perform the following duties:
- Record Maintenance: Maintain logs, track licensing and child abuse reports, and manage expungement functions
- Office Coordination: Schedule rooms, manage calls, greet visitors, and assist with onboarding new staff
- Information Review: Examine correspondence, verify accuracy, and route materials to the correct staff
- Equipment Management: Determine office needs, research vendors, and process approved orders for supplies and furniture
- Data Entry: Input child abuse referral and complaint information into CWIS and maintain filing systems
- Clerical Support: Prepare correspondence, type requested materials, manage emails and faxes, and support office workflows

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
