Overview:
Looking for a reliable, motivated, and experienced full-time Handyman to work in a multi-family building in Bronx, NY. Monday through Friday, 8am – 4pm.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general building maintenance and repairs
- Complete painting, plastering, patching, and touch-up work as needed
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Inspect the property regularly and address maintenance issues proactively
- Maintain the overall appearance and condition of the building's interior and exterior
- Coordinate with management regarding repairs, supplies, and building maintenance needs
- Assist with apartment turnovers, including repairs and touch-up work
- Ensure tools, equipment, and maintenance areas are kept clean and organized
Qualifications:
- General maintenance experience, including basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Strong painting and plastering experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repairs independently
- Organized, reliable, self-motivated, and friendly
- English is a strong plus, Spanish is a strong plus
- Available to start immediately
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
