Our ReStores play a vital role in generating funds that support our mission of building homes, communities, and hope.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Dayton is seeking an experienced and mission-driven ReStore Director to lead and oversee operations for three ReStore locations. This strategic leadership role is responsible for driving sales growth, increasing donations, developing community partnerships, managing staff and volunteers, and ensuring operational excellence across all stores.
The ideal candidate is a results-oriented leader with experience in multi-location retail management, business development, sales, marketing, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operations, sales performance, and financial management for three ReStore locations.
- Recruit, coach, and develop store managers, staff, and volunteers.
- Build relationships with local businesses, contractors, retailers, and community partners to secure donated merchandise.
- Develop marketing and community engagement strategies to increase store traffic, donations, and brand awareness.
- Monitor budgets, revenue, expenses, and key performance metrics.
- Ensure outstanding customer service and a safe, welcoming shopping environment.
- Support Habitat's mission through community outreach and donor stewardship.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in retail operations, sales, business development, nonprofit retail, or a related field.
- Experience managing multiple locations and teams.
- Strong financial management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between locations.
Preferred:
- Nonprofit or mission-driven organization experience.
- Donation-based retail experience.
- Knowledge of the Greater Dayton business community.
- Experience working with volunteers.
