The Customer Service Coordinator serves as the front line of the operation, welcoming drivers delivering loads to Cando’s facility and coordinating the on-site movement and inventory of railcars. The role also supports daily operations by completing routine clerical and administrative tasks.

Job Duties
- Coordinate pickup and delivery schedules with oil companies, truck drivers, and the railroad.
- Check trucks in and out, ensure all required paperwork is completed, and enter data accurately into the designated information system.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound rail movements with the railroad and Cando personnel using phone and radio communications while maintaining accurate on-site railcar inventories.
- Prepare bills of lading for outbound railcars.
- Conduct safety briefings for visiting drivers, customers, and other visitors.
- Verify inventory system accuracy and provide customers with daily and weekly inventory and movement reports.
- Work directly with customers to answer questions, resolve issues, and provide requested information.
- Partner with other logistics coordinators to reconcile information and correct errors.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Inventory management and SAP experience.
- Strong communication skills to include both written and verbal.
- Strong knowledge of organization, planning, records management, research, and general administrative practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Attention to detail is a MUST!
- Will need to be open to work Monday through Friday, during the hours of 6am-5pm. (Shift will be between the hours listed.)
- Professional demeanor and a strong customer service mindset in daily interactions.
- Logistics or terminal experience.
- Problem solving/multitasking experience.
- Familiar with safety compliance procedures.
- Ability to anticipate operational needs and plan to support the operation, manager, and team members.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize assignments, and meet corporate deadlines.
