In support of The Center for Pursuit’s mission and values, the Program Support Manager is under the direct supervision of the Senior Program Manager and Director of Residential Services responsible for ensuring the socially related needs of individuals are met. Ensures clients eligibility status is active and in compliance with the rules and regulations of governmental agencies. The Program Support Manager will be responsible for understanding, documenting, supporting, and analyzing the eligibility system and procedures that support the business functions performed in the department. The Program Support Manager assists clients and families to understand their access to government assistance. The position requires effective prioritization, time management, communication, and organizational abilities. This position will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, both internally and externally, which includes being a liaison.
- Enters Intellectual Disability/Related Condition Assessment (ID/RC) into the TMHP system within established timeframes and prior to expiration).
- Enters Individual Plan of Care (IPC) into the TMHP system within established timeframes prior to expiration.
- Submits a copy of the entered IPC and IDRC to the local authorities within established timeframes.
- Enters IPC Revisions into the TMHP system within established timeframes.
- Monitors Client’s Passbook Account Balances on a monthly basis and provides reports to administration.
- Enters all Critical Incident Data into the CIMS system monthly within HHSC timeline.
- Monitors client’s Medicaid Eligibility Status.
- Renews client’s Medicaid benefits at least annually or as needed.
- Works with clients, family members, staff, and Social Security representatives to renew client’s Medicaid Eligibility.
- Works with the LIDDA Service Coordinator to ensure quality of appropriate services and supports are being delivered.
- Manages an assigned small caseload of clients, ensuring timely coordination of services and individual needs.
- Receives state agency mail and is responsible for all client governmental agency benefits.
- Assist program staff with the management of client’s financial affairs.
- Assist clients with shopping needs to ensure account balances are within Medicaid guidelines.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. Bachelor’s degree in social services or closely related field strongly preferred but not required.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managing similar programs serving people with developmental disabilities or those needing similar services.
Competencies: Communication Proficiency, Client Focus, Independent Judgment, Advocacy, Ethical Conduct, and Flexibility
Special Training/ Skills: Knowledge of governmental benefits.
Licensure/ Certification: CPR required upon hire and every 2 years thereafter. Valid Texas Driver’s License in good standing.
