Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on company trucks and equipment
- Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
- Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance records
- Work closely with the team to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Communicate repair status and timelines with the team
- Assist with ordering and managing parts inventory
- Maintain reliable attendance, including overtime when required
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a mechanic; 5+ years with heavy trucks/equipment preferred
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to self‑manage and work independently
- Valid driver’s license required
- CDL preferred, but not required
