American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiovascular ICU (CVPICU) position at a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, requiring a minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience and an active TN or compact RN license.

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00

Weekends required on an as-needed basis

Block scheduling is not available, though weekend block schedules may be considered — discuss scheduling preferences during the interview

Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may be required on rare occasions

Cerner EMR experience preferred

Active RN license — TN state license or NLC compact license required; no pending licensure accepted

Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience required; 3+ years preferred

BSN preferred

Driver's License required for consideration

At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible unless they have 3+ years of recent experience

Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration; no RTO will be approved after an offer has been made

If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment period, traveler must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be covered

Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
