Job Summary
Facility is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Long-Term Care team. This position is ideal for compassionate, dependable nurses with a strong clinical background in skilled nursing or long-term care who are committed to delivering exceptional resident care.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
- Monitor residents' conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team.
- Accurately document patient care and maintain medical records.
- Collaborate with physicians, RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure quality care.
- Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies at all times.
- Educate residents and families regarding care plans and treatments.
Minimum Qualifications
- Active Maine LPN License.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Long-Term Care (LTC) experience.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
Pay: $37.00 - $42.00 per hour
