Since 1938, Allied Resource Recovery has been serving southeastern Wisconsin as a locally owned recycling company. With locations in Waukesha and West Allis, we provide safe, efficient recycling services to both commercial customers and the public.
We're looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. If you enjoy troubleshooting equipment, solving mechanical problems, and working in a smaller team environment where your contributions are appreciated, we'd like to talk with you.
What You'll Do

Perform preventative maintenance on industrial recycling equipment

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Maintain and repair balers, conveyors, forklifts, loaders, and related equipment

Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime

Assist with facility maintenance and improvement projects

Work closely with the Maintenance Lead to ensure equipment reliability
Qualifications

Two or more years of industrial maintenance experience preferred

Experience troubleshooting hydraulic equipment strongly preferred

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose equipment problems

Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
-
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record to drive our maintenance vehicle

Ability to provide your own basic hand tools
