Job Summary
Second Shift (5:00 pm to 3:30 am)
The ideal candidate is a responsible and safety-focused professional with proven experience operating commercial vehicles and handling large structural materials using a forklift. This role is critical to ensure that materials and finished products are transported safely, efficiently, and delivered to the correct location on time. This position works in a non-climate-controlled environment and may be exposed to hot and cold temperatures depending on weather conditions.
Responsibilities
· Load and unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles.
· Drive company truck to make local deliveries.
· Identify damages and report shortages of material or quality deficiencies.
· Transport raw materials to production workstations.
· Keep updated activity logs.
· Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
· Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
Requirements
· Must have own reliable transportation.
· Must possess valid driver’s license (class C) and have good driving record.
· High school diploma.
· Valid certification to operate forklifts (Preferred).
· Excellent physical condition and coordination.
· Must be detail oriented, punctual, and a team player.
· Must be able to work under pressure, meet critical deadlines and handle difficult situations as required.
· Able to act on own initiative and work as part of a team consisting of members from other departments.
Pay: $22.00 per hour
