Responsibilities
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service standards
- Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance on food production, cooking techniques, and food handling procedures
- Oversee inventory control and ordering processes to ensure proper stock levels while minimizing waste
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all culinary activities
- Lead menu planning efforts for daily service, special events, and catering functions with creativity and precision
- Coordinate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and restrictions effectively
- Manage shift schedules, monitor team performance, and foster a positive team environment focused on collaboration and excellence
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food production and kitchen management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in high-volume settings such as restaurants or banquet halls
- Extensive knowledge of food safety protocols, inventory management, and food handling procedures
- Skilled in menu planning, catering coordination, and food service management
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a diverse team
- Culinary training or certification from a recognized institution is preferred

Pay: $78,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
