Looking for certified dental assistant to join our Pediatric Dental team! Must enjoy working with kids and be comfortable in a kid friendly environment. Dental assistant certificate and radiology certificate needed. Previous experience preferred. Light front desk duties/receptionist skills/CROSS TRAINED experience a major plus.
Located in the WESTCHASE area on border of Hillsborough and Pinellas County
Competitive pay based on level of experience.

Hours are from Monday-Thursday 8am-4:30pm , with occasional Friday hours.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain patient records and medical documentation
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental laboratory procedures such as pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and oral health procedures
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and aseptic technique
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Understanding of medical coding and billing practices, including knowledge of HIPAA regulations
Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and dental team members
- Excellent attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping and instrument sterilization
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient schedules, maintain inventory, and keep the office running smoothly
