D&G is seeking a Qlik Consultant to support the Defense Logistics Agency Warehouse Utilization program. This role focuses on developing advanced Qlik applications that transform complex warehouse and supply chain data into meaningful operational insights. The consultant will help stakeholders understand space utilization, identify opportunities to optimize storage, support new mission requirements, reduce costs, and improve strategic planning across the enterprise.
The ideal candidate combines deep Qlik development expertise with strong analytical thinking and data storytelling skills, enabling users to confidently act on complex warehouse data.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and refine Qlik dashboards that translate business requirements into visually compelling and analytically accurate solutions.
- Integrate product-driven requirements and benchmark dashboard capabilities against external best practices to ensure modern, competitive designs.
- Apply advanced Qlik customization using CSS, content libraries, themes, and external extensions to build polished, user-centric interfaces.
- Manage and model data from multiple sources, maintaining organized relationships and ensuring reliable, validated metrics.
- Independently interpret functional and business requirements and convert them into visual narratives that effectively communicate analytical insights.
- Improve and debug existing dashboards, validate metric accuracy, refine storytelling, and enhance overall usability.
- Support deployment and publishing across different Qlik hosting environments and work with platform teams to resolve environment-specific issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, business processes, and operational objectives.
- Support continuous improvement of dashboard functionality, performance, and user experience.
What We Are Looking For
Required
- Deep hands-on expertise with Qlik development, including scripting, advanced visualization, and front-end customization.
- Strong proficiency with CSS, themes, content libraries, and integration of advanced Qlik extensions.
- Experience modeling data from multiple sources and validating metrics against source systems.
- Ability to work independently and translate ambiguous or high-level requirements into effective dashboard designs.
- Demonstrated capability to improve, redesign, and troubleshoot existing Qlik dashboards.
- Strong communication and data storytelling skills with the ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience supporting cross-platform publishing and resolving Qlik environment or version compatibility issues.
Preferred
- Experience supporting supply chain, logistics, warehouse operations, or DLA-related initiatives.
- Experience working with large enterprise datasets and operational reporting environments.
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and analytics best practices.
- Experience supporting Federal or DoD clients.
Clearance and Eligibility
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
- This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
