Job Title: Soccer Coach (Middle School)

The contemporary, learning-driven school is in the South Loop area of Chicago, serving both American and international families. The British International School of Chicago, South Loop (BISC-SL) is seeking a Coach for our Middle School Boys’ Soccer team. The position available is temporary and will run from early August until late October.
Job summary
The successful candidate will be able to adapt to this fast-paced and challenging environment, offering a high-class coaching experience to our students. You should foster a love of learning in your student athletes, set ambitious targets and use a variety of coaching strategies to ensure the success of your student athletes.
Job specification
The coaching positions available are for external contractors who will be required to coach at BISC-SL for one Fall season of sport. This will include pre-season practice, followed by two- three training sessions per week and 3-5 games per week over the season (after 4pm). There will also be some morning practices for Middle School between 7am- 8.15am. A full schedule for the season is available on request from the Athletic Director.
Required Certifications, and Experience
· Relevant coaching/playing experience and/or certifications
· First aid trained
· Completion of BISC-SL coach induction prior to pre-season commencing

You will also uphold the reputation of the school within in the LSAL/ CAMS league and wider Chicago non-conference game schedule.
The successful candidate will join a team of motivated, dynamic and energetic coaches, collaborating regularly to share best practice and will be receptive to feedback and change.
