Job Summary
Ignite2X is a strategy-led marketing agency built for CPG brands — from emerging challengers to established category players. We're looking for a seasoned CPG strategist to join us on a fractional basis (10–20 hours/week) to lead brand strategy and consumer-insight work across a set of key client accounts and select new business opportunities, with real potential to grow into a full-time seat as our needs scale.
What you'll do:
- Own strategic reviews and frameworks for core client brands — positioning, segmentation, messaging architecture
- Translate consumer, market, and competitive insight into strategy that moves brands forward
- Support shopper and retail strategy input alongside account and media teams
- Develop, execute, and provide intel / insights from research programs with vendor partners
- Apply AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, or equivalent) to accelerate research, synthesis, and first-draft frameworks — while keeping senior judgment squarely in the loop
- Contribute strategic thinking to new-business pitches
What you bring:
- 8–12+ years in brand/marketing strategy, research, strategic planning, or consumer insights — CPG experience strongly preferred
- Brand-side and/or agency strategic-planning background
- Comfort working scrappy and senior at once inside a small-agency environment
- Working fluency with AI-enabled research and strategy workflows
This is a flexible, fractional engagement for the right person — ideal for an experienced strategist who wants meaningful client impact without a full-time commitment, with the door open to more as the relationship grows.
Pay: $70.00 - $100.00 per hour
