Nayar Health Care is seeking a compassionate and motivated PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide exceptional home health services throughout Virginia. As part of our interdisciplinary team, you'll help patients regain independence, improve daily functioning, and achieve their highest level of quality of life—all while enjoying the flexibility of a PRN schedule.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services in the patient's home.
- Assess home safety and recommend adaptive equipment or environmental modifications.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other members of the care team.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current Virginia Occupational Therapist license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
- Home health experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
