Career Services Representative (Bilingual – Spanish Preferred)
We are a fast-growing career and technical education institution focused on preparing students for high-demand trades careers. We are seeking a motivated, bilingual Career Services Representative to support students from graduation through employment placement.
This is a student-facing, results-driven role focused on job placement outcomes, employer relationships, and graduate follow-up.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide career coaching to students and graduates (résumé review, interview prep, job search strategies)
- Maintain consistent follow-up with graduates regarding employment status
- Build and maintain relationships with local employers and hiring partners
- Coordinate employer visits, job leads, and hiring opportunities
- Verify and document graduate employment for placement reporting
- Track placement activity and maintain accurate records in the student tracking system
- Support career workshops and job-readiness training
- Collaborate with Admissions and Academics to support student success
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish (preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in:
- Career Services
- Recruiting
- Workforce Development
- Staffing or Employment Services
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Comfortable conducting outreach calls to employers and graduates
- Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel required)
Preferred
- Experience in a college, trade school, or workforce training environment
- Experience tracking placement metrics or employment verification
- Existing employer network within the local trades industry
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, confident communicating with both students and employers, and comfortable being accountable for placement follow-up.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
