Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and POS transactions with precision and accountability
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service regulations and policies
- Restock bar supplies as needed and assist in inventory management to prevent shortages or overstocking
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for food service requests during events like banquets or catering functions
- Uphold all food safety standards related to food handling, serving, and alcohol consumption in various settings including nightclubs and restaurants
Skills
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, banquet, or food service environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts seamlessly while maintaining quality service
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math calculations, and drink measurements
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus for event-based service environments
- Basic understanding of brewing processes and beverage preparation techniques
- Ability to multitask effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
