Senior Project Manager – Land Development
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead land development projects from planning and entitlements through construction support. This role requires a licensed Professional Engineer with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience managing client relationships and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead land development projects from inception through construction support.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, quality, and deliverables.
- Prepare proposals, fee estimates, and scopes of work.
- Conduct site investigations and coordinate engineering design.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting business development.
- Supervise and mentor Project Managers and engineering staff.
- Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and engineering standards.
- Oversee project profitability, resource planning, and team performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Minimum 10 years of project management experience in land development.
- Proven experience managing projects from entitlement through construction support.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and client management skills.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Preferred Experience
- Commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development.
- Site development, grading, drainage, and utility design.
- Stormwater management and permitting.
- Construction administration and engineering support.
