We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused Warehouse Operator to join our team in Aurora, Illinois. The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, storage, packaging, and shipment of materials and products within our warehouse facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production operations, and ensuring customer orders are fulfilled on time and to quality standards.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment while adhering to all safety and operational procedures.
Receive, inspect, and accurately store incoming materials and products.
Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Perform inventory transactions and maintain accurate inventory records.
Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and housekeeping standards.
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
Assist with material movement to support production and manufacturing operations.
Verify shipping and receiving documentation for accuracy.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and customer expectations.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred.
Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.
Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Ability to safely operate material handling equipment and wear required PPE
