JOB Are you passionate about using data, metrics, and evidence to drive better outcomes in local government? Loudoun County, Virginia’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) is seeking a dynamic Organizational Performance Management Team Lead to continue building our program. This role will help build and maintain our performance management framework, support departmental reporting and dashboards, and play a key part in advancing a culture of data-informed decision-making across the County. After a training period, this position is eligible for telework.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES The ideal Organizational Performance Management Team Lead is a self-starter with strong leadership, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You and your analyst staff will work closely with departments to develop, refine, and monitor performance indicators; assist with the creation of dashboards, reports, and metric frameworks; provide training and support in performance management practices; and help ensure that performance data is integrated into budget decisions and strategic planning.
OMB is responsible for coordinating measurement and reporting of Countywide key performance indicators, supporting departments in aligning metrics to service levels, providing training and consultation to departments, and leveraging analytics to inform evidence-based budget decisions. This position’s work products and recommendations will help guide the Budget Director, County Administrator and Board of Supervisors on organizational performance, resource alignment, and progress toward outcomes.
OMB is a multi-divisional office within the Office of the County Administrator. OMB has responsibility over the development of the operating and capital budgets, as well as debt management, long-term development and demographic forecasting, and organizational performance management.
