Job Summary
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned as well.
- Finalize the facility's inventory system from the ground up, including organization, labeling, and storage locations.
- Receive incoming material, verify against packing slips and purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies
- Monitor parts and stock levels, updating daily counts to keep records accurate in real time.
- Analyze parts usage and consumption trends to anticipate demand and prevent shortages or overstock.
- Research and source parts, comparing suppliers to find the best pricing, lead times, and availability.
- Coordinate with other departments to align inventory with operational needs.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic physical inventories, and reconcile any variances.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, min/max levels, and reorder points in the tracking system.
- Ability to have strong attention to detail to ensure data and analysis are accurate.
- Encourages the importance of following standard operating procedures for daily activities.
- Understands how to evaluate all systems and processes at a high level to evaluate how they all connect.
- Handles incoming calls and resolves technician service questions.
- Assist technicians with any questions and post route status when on the rotational on-call (weekend/after hours).

Education:
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience, and zero to three years previous experience in transportation, logistics, or waste operations.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
