Responsibilities

- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about each child's progress, milestones, and any concerns.
- Plan engaging lesson plans that incorporate child development principles, special education needs, and early intervention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of children's progress and incidents.
- Conduct regular assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental milestones and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Maintain up-to-date certifications in first aid, CPR, and child welfare practices to ensure a safe environment for all children.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with young children in classroom settings or childcare environments.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development, curriculum development, and early intervention techniques.
- Experience with behavior management, classroom management, and lesson planning for preschool-aged children.
- Familiarity with special education practices and literacy education methods tailored for toddlers and pre-kindergarten students.
- Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to adhere to mandated reporting laws and maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Certification in first aid and CPR required; additional credentials in early childhood education or preschool teaching preferred.
- Prior experience with daycare or private school settings is advantageous; familiarity with standardized testing is a plus.

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
