Job Title: RN – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Bloomington, IN 47403
Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Pay Rate
- Local Candidates (Within 50 Miles): Up to $54/hour (Negotiable)
- Travel Candidates (50+ Miles): Up to $60/hour (Negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on the severity of their condition.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy according to physician orders.
- Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes or emergencies.
- Assist with emergency procedures, trauma cases, and critical care interventions.
- Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience preferred.
- Current BLS certification (Required).
- ACLS certification (Required).
- PALS and TNCC preferred (or as required by the facility).
- Previous experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills.
Pay: $54.00 - $60.00 per hour
