Duties
- Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and guest clothing with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas through floor cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitation procedures
- Handle chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling protocols and safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines
- Prepare and serve nutritious breakfast options in accordance with health standards and guest preferences
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used correctly, maintained regularly, and stored securely to promote safety and efficiency
- Follow hotel housekeeping management procedures to report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly
- Assist with hotel emergency procedures when necessary to ensure guest safety at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and chemical sprayers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling laundry loads or cleaning supplies
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and hotel housekeeping management practices
- Understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations
- Experience with hospitality operations including floor care, custodial tasks, and hotel housekeeping management is preferred
- Ability to handle manual handling tasks efficiently while maintaining safety standards
