Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, Hi-Lo lifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking using barcode scanning technology and order picker equipment to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, inspecting goods for damage or discrepancies, and recording inventory movements in the warehouse management system.
- Conduct manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of pallets and materials while adhering to OSHA safety standards and warehouse safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through barcode scanning for logistics and inventory management systems; perform regular stock counts and cycle counts.
- Support warehouse distribution operations by organizing storage areas, managing stock rotation, and ensuring compliance with safety standards in production environments.
- Perform minor equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to ensure all heavy equipment remains in safe working condition.
- Follow all safety standards related to forklift operation, manual handling, and warehouse procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Experience
- Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, lift trucks (forklifts), Hi-Lo’s, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, or similar material handling equipment.
- Prior warehouse experience involving shipping & receiving, inventory management, or warehouse distribution is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or barcode scanning technology used for logistics operations.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to forklift safety protocols and general warehouse safety standards.
- Experience in manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and materials handling in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
- Previous supervisory experience as a warehouse supervisor or team lead is a plus but not required; willingness to learn warehouse management practices is essential.

Pay: $25.38 - $30.56 per hour
