Qualifications
- Be committed to the Catholic mission and identity of St. Augustine School
- Have strong content knowledge, instructional and classroom management skills
- Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity, organization and planning
- Design, plan and implement learning strategies and assessments
- Display a willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
- Develop the ability to utilize data to differentiate instruction
- Guide students in their social-emotional development, maintaining expectations and support for positive and productive student behavior
- Communicate with families about student progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, principal and pastor
- Perform other responsibilities as designated by the principal or pastor
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Rhode Island Teaching Certification preferred
- Relevant Prior Experience preferred
