American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Emergency Room travel contract in Janesville, WI, requiring active WI licensure and trauma certifications for night shift coverage.

Traveler may be required to work at additional Emergency Department locations within the Janesville and Beloit areas

Active WI or compact RN license currently in hand

Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and either TNCC or TNS

Prior Emergency Room nursing experience required

Education verification required for consideration

Responsibilities include patient assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care

Administers medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies, and applicable state law
-
Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to develop and execute individualized patient plans of care, including patient and family instruction

Participates in department performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance
-
Applies critical thinking regarding patient safety and escalates concerns through the appropriate chain of command
