Black Radish is looking for a professional Sous Chef, Line Cook and Pantry Cook to prepare food to the Chef’s specifications. Duties will consist of assisting the Executive Chef with all daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to the success of the restaurant. Black Radish is open for dinner Wednesday thru Saturday. Offering competitive wages plus Cooks are included in the Tip Pool.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food for service including chopping vegetables, butchering meat and preparing sauces
- Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Prepare menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Answer, report and follow Executive Chef’s instructions
- Clean up station and kitchen
- Stock inventory appropriately
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Requirements
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a Sous Chef, Line Cook, or Pantry Cook.
- Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Familiar with industry’s best practices

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
