Hay Jay Café is looking for a reliable Dishwasher/Busser to join our team on weekends and holidays. This position is perfect for someone who wants part-time work in a fast-paced environment and doesn’t mind jumping in wherever needed.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly - no food particles left behind
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish area
- Clear and reset tables to keep the dining area clean and welcoming and help the team
- Assist kitchen and front-of-house staff with basic cleaning tasks as needed
- Follow all safety and sanitation standards
Qualifications:
- Reliable and punctual—weekend and some holiday availability is required
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to help both front and back of house
