Plan and lead engaging daily activities, games, crafts, music, exercise, educational programs, and special events for Assisted Living and Memory Care residents.

Create meaningful experiences that promote socialization, wellness, independence, and quality of life.

Coordinate community outings, holiday celebrations, and special events.

Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships with residents and their families.

Create and maintain monthly activity calendars and required documentation.

Coordinate transportation and accompany residents on outings as needed.

Assist in developing volunteer opportunities and community partnerships.

Collaborate with other departments to create an exceptional resident experience.

Work occasional evenings or weekends for special events.

Perform other duties as assigned.

High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

At least one (1) year of experience in senior living, recreation, hospitality, education, childcare, event planning, customer service, or a related field preferred.

Experience in senior living, recreation, hospitality, education, childcare, event planning, customer service, or activities is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and passion for working with seniors.

Experience working with older adults, including individuals living with dementia is a plus.

CPR certification preferred.

Activity Director Certification, Certified Activity Professional (CAP), or similar certification is a plus but not required.

Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Creative, energetic, compassionate, and resident-focused.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position.
