Responsibilities:
- Ensuring housekeeping is maintained at appropriate levels
- Performing necessary tasks to comply with FDA and ISO regulations
- Understands Responsible Care and Quality Policies and performs job responsibilities safely by following documented work procedures and instructions, while keeping in mind the environmental aspects and their potential impacts.
- Providing coverage for other QC Lab Techs taking vacation.
Must be a self-starter and possess excellent organizational skills.

Language Ability: The duties and responsibilities of this position require the ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard operating procedures, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Education:
Minimum of associate’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Chemistry with a minimum of 6 months lab experience, or a High School diploma with a minimum of two years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
No candidates with Master's or PhD's will be considered
Experience:
HPLC (High-performance liquid chromatography) and GC (Gas Chromatography) experience preferred
QC experience is preferred
Must demonstrate flexibility and willingness to work shift schedules, including holidays, weekends and overtime as required.
Must possess good troubleshooting, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills and be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Technician, not chemists.
Reasoning Ability:
The duties and responsibilities of this position require the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
The duties and responsibilities of this position require a high level of computer proficiency, including word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, and other in-house systems as required.
Laboratory Skills: Maintain analytical equipment in proper working order, basic troubleshooting experience, communicate analytical results and concerns as necessary to enable good decision making. Perform tasks that enable the success of the entire laboratory team such as solution preparation, calibrations, and general housekeeping in the lab.
