Responsibilities
- Safely transport food from the kitchen to dining areas, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained.
- Assist with food preparation, plating, and garnishing to support kitchen staff as needed.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, bussing dishes and maintaining a clean dining environment.
- Handle heavy lifting and manual handling of food trays, equipment, and supplies following safe lifting practices.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and guests to coordinate timely food delivery.
- Support cleaning duties in the dining area, including wiping down surfaces and organizing service stations.
- Use POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order accuracy when required.
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld by adhering to proper food handling procedures.
- Assist with in-person customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to a welcoming atmosphere through friendly communication and guest engagement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and basic food preparation techniques.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and interact with guests.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Familiarity with banquet service, catering, or hotel experience is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in fast-paced settings while maintaining attention to detail.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout shifts.
