NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION: STEAM Tutor, Full-Time (Non-Union, Benefits)
Glastonbury High School
10-month position, 36 hours per week
WAGES: $25.50 per hour
DUTIES: In charge of maintaining, organizing, and cleaning machines,
equipment, materials, and STEAM Lab. This includes daily and
scheduled maintenance.
Assist the teaching staff with instructional and laboratory support to
students, working with small groups and individual students.
Organize and manage schedule for sign-up classes as need be. This
includes communication with STEAM lab teachers.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required; in Science, Art, Math, STEAM or CTE-
related field preferred.
Ability to learn, maintain, and operate advanced manufacturing
industry standard equipment. May require heavy lifting of up to 50
lbs.
Good communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability
to relate easily and work well with students and staff are essential.
Responsible for maintaining a schedule and organizing
environment for use by multiple groups.
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and travel as needed to pick up or
deliver materials related to program operations.
