-Ability to create a Personalized Learning Plan for students with different learning needs
-Enthusiastic to teach the material
-Willingness to work on special projects or after-hour events, fundraisers, field trips, etc.
-Bring the curriculum to life, while making learning memorable and enjoyable for each child in our Christian environment
Teacher Responsibilities:
-Arrive Monday through Friday 7:30 am and leave by 3:30 pm
-Plan and implement daily lessons for the children
-Commit to 2 hours of planning each week.
-Be able to orchestrate a high level of classroom management, along with a balance of grace and discipline
-Observe and evaluate each child’s progress and provide a written report/evaluation to the administration each 8 weeks
-Work cooperatively and professionally with other staff and parents
-Maintain communication with parents through text, newsletter, emails and/or phone
-Be available for parent conferences and teacher workdays for planning
-Attend staff meetings, trainings and school functions
-Assist the administration with designated activities, such as car line
-Maintain a safe and sanitary environment for the children daily
-Maintain children portfolios of their work and progress
Benefits/Full-Time Position
- PTO 1 week (5 days included to pay a substitute) if you exceed the 5 days included, you will be responsible for paying your substitute $100/day.
- Monthly Teaching Expenses (TBD) spending allowance for parties, classroom materials, activities, etc.
- Low teacher to student ratio
Pay: $25,000.00 - $30,000.00 per year
