Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional perioperative care in various healthcare facilities across Tennessee. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in surgical nursing, with a strong focus on patient safety, aseptic techniques, and efficient operative procedures. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse hospital settings, including Level I and Level II trauma centers, outpatient surgical centers, and specialty clinics. The Travel OR RN will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience; 3+ years preferred.
- Must have at least 2 years of RN experience
- At least one completed previous travel assignment.
- Active RN license in Tennessee or a valid compact license..
- Willingness to work during end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) as specified:
- Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays if all fall during assignment.
- If 2 holidays fall during assignment, must work at least 1 of the 2.
- No call-in restrictions; candidates must not want to be contacted by recruiters, credentialing, or accounting departments.
- For local travelers: Reside at least 100 miles from the facility.
- Prior experience with Cerner charting system preferred.
- Previous travel experience in OR or similar settings.
- Ability to adhere to facility-specific strict requirements and submission protocols.
