Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation tasks.
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications to ensure consistency and quality of food.
- Monitor food stock and communicate any shortages to supervisor.
- Adhere to all sanitation and food safety regulations
- Clean and maintain work areas, utensils, and equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a line cook or prep cook in the food industry.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate with kitchen staff and ensure efficient operations.
- Flexibility to work in different areas of the kitchen as needed.
- Experience in a restaurant kitchen is a plus.
- Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.
