Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of all hotel transactions using property management systems (PMS) , ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently while providing friendly, professional customer service via multi-line phone systems and in person.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and deliver personalized guest services to enhance overall satisfaction.
- Monitor hotel security through CCTV surveillance, perform routine safety checks, and respond to any emergency procedures or incidents with confidence.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and financial summaries to maintain clear documentation of overnight activities.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest requests or facility needs during the night shift.
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests, clients, and internal departments to foster positive relationships.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel operations with a strong understanding of front desk functions.
- Proficiency with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or similar platforms.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with problem-solving abilities to handle guest concerns effectively.
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for engaging with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and guest relations best practices.
- Strong communication skills for phone conversations, client interactions, and team coordination across multi-line phone systems.
- Previous resort experience or work within a hospitality environment that emphasizes guest satisfaction is advantageous.
