Shift: 1st Shift - Primarily Remote (Occasional onsite attendance may be required for workshops. Parking and badge access will be provided.)

S*eeking an experienced IT Project Manager* to join our customer's team in Atlanta, Georgia. This role will lead complex IT initiatives from business case development through production deployment and operational transition. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing enterprise IT projects, implementing ITIL processes, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with organizational standards.
This is a primarily remote position with occasional onsite attendance required for project workshops and stakeholder meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex IT projects through the complete project lifecycle, from business case development to production release and operational transition.
- Develop project charters, including problem statements, scope definitions, timelines, budgets, resource plans, dependencies, stakeholder identification, and process maps.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and control project schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
- Facilitate project kickoff meetings, workshops, and stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Business, IT, Engineering, Architecture, Information Security, Quality, and external vendors.
- Maintain project governance documentation and project compliance using enterprise project management tools.
- Manage project execution through all required tollgates while ensuring quality, cost, and schedule objectives are achieved.
- Ensure Information Security, Architecture, and compliance reviews are completed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and stabilize ITIL operational processes for supported IT platforms.
- Define, monitor, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for project success and operational readiness.
- Oversee vendor performance and ensure deliverables meet project expectations.
- Maintain project communications, executive presentations, and PMO reporting.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and manage issue resolution through production deployment and hypercare.
- Support transition of completed solutions to IT Operations teams.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience leading complex enterprise IT projects from initiation through implementation.
- Strong IT Project Management experience, including scope, schedule, cost, resource, and risk management.
- Experience implementing and stabilizing ITIL processes.
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience creating executive-level presentations and project status reporting.
- Ability to quickly learn and lead projects involving new technologies and business processes.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and project deliverables.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience overseeing compliance activities including Information Security and Architecture reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting IT projects and enterprise systems.
- Experience using enterprise IT Project Portfolio Management (ITPPM) tools.
- PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, Agile, or equivalent project management certifications.
- Experience leading enterprise digital transformation or process improvement initiatives.
