American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift travel assignment at a nationally ranked, Level I trauma teaching hospital in Durham, NC.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 978 staffed beds
-
Major teaching hospital and Level I trauma center, nationally ranked in 11 adult and 9 pediatric specialties
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30

Charting performed in Epic (experience required)

13-week contract
-
Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience preferred; less may be considered

Active RRT credential required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Compact or North Carolina (NC) license in hand at time of consideration (license required if applicable)

All required certifications must be in hand at time of consideration

1 supervisory reference within the last year required

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

Orientations are held bi-weekly

Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted

Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
