Supply Sales Specialist/Backup Cashier
The supply sales specialist will be responsible for generating sales in the supply department. This includes shop visits, phone/email contact, and creating frequent supply-focused emails and other social media content, as well as assisting customers in the warehouse. This position is also a backup cashier position in the warehouse.
Responsibilities
· Generate or reconnecting new supply customers; significantly improving supply sales.
· Generate engaging social media content regarding supplies to improve sales.
· Sharing product knowledge with customers.
· Customer liaison, follow up calls/emails and cultivating new customers.
· Participate in shop visits.
· Ability to suggest substitutions for items out of stock.
· Communicate with the buyer regarding low inventory or requests for products not currently in merchandise mix.
· Backup cashier duties include receipt of all payment types, contacting customer for payment, credit card updates and other concerns related to receiving payments.
Requirements
· Proficient use of Office 365 and other software programs.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
· Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently.
· Ability to lift 50 pounds occasionally.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
