Position Overview
Motas is hiring full-time Secure Transport Drivers to transport cannabis products, payments, and related documents between licensed marijuana facilities throughout Michigan.
This position is a strong fit for applicants who want full-time hours while working only three scheduled days per week. Drivers in this role work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with long route days that typically average approximately 34–40 hours per week. Drivers return home every night — no overnight routes. Days may vary due to holiday closures.
Drivers operate both cargo vans and 26’ box trucks. Applicants must have experience operating 26’ box trucks, but daily vehicle assignments may include cargo vans, box trucks, or other company vehicles depending on route needs, vehicle availability, and business volume.
This is not a simple package delivery job. Drivers are responsible for safe driving, secure product handling, accurate paperwork, customer service, payment handling, and clear communication with dispatch and management. Drivers represent Motas at customer facilities and are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.
Schedule Expectations
Drivers in this position are expected to work Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday each week. This position typically averages approximately 34–40 hours per week, depending on route volume, business needs, and assigned routes.
Start times are staggered in the morning and vary based on the assigned route. Drivers do not have a guaranteed end time. Once scheduled, drivers are expected to be available to complete the full route, which may include 10–12+ hour shifts depending on the day’s workload, route changes, customer needs, weather, traffic, or other operational factors.
Because this role is built around Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday coverage, applicants must be consistently available on all three required workdays.
Drivers must also be able to work required business days surrounding holidays and during peak business periods.
