FULL-TIME C-36 QUALIFIER / OPERATIONS LEAD (RMO or RME) — SAN DIEGO
Viper Plumbing & Pipeline, Inc. is a newly formed California corporation building out residential service and commercial plumbing operations, including trenchless CIPP pipe lining. We are hiring a full-time licensed plumber to serve as our CSLB qualifier and run the technical side of the business.
This is a real full-time job, not a side arrangement. You will be in the field and in the office, with actual authority over how work gets performed.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Responsible Managing Officer or Responsible Managing Employee on our C-36 license
- Exercise direct supervision and control over construction operations — scopes of work, means and methods, code compliance, and quality
- Pull and manage permits; coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions
- Supervise field crews and technicians; train and sign off on apprentices
- Support estimating and scope review on commercial and service bids
- Own job-site safety and help build out our safety program
- Assist with hiring and evaluating field staff
Requirements:
- Active C-36 Plumbing classification in good standing with the CSLB, or the experience to qualify for one
- Four or more years of journey-level or supervisory plumbing experience meeting CSLB standards
- Clean license and complaint history; able to pass a background check and CSLB fingerprinting
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Working knowledge of the California Plumbing Code and local permitting
- Available on a full-time schedule (minimum 32 hours per week) as required for RME status
