Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts Severe Disabilities Special Education certification (Moderate/Severe) required
- Prior experience in substantially separate or intensive special education classrooms is highly preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Exceptional classroom management abilities and familiarity with evidence-based instructional strategies
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small-group instruction based on IEPs in the ABLES program
- Adapt curriculum and materials to support students with severe and complex needs
- Implement positive behavior supports and specialized teaching techniques
- Collaborate closely with paraprofessionals, related service providers, and general education staff
- Maintain detailed progress documentation and participate in IEP meetings
