Parts Puller

Position Summary:
Remove parts from molds with little or no defect using a variety of hand tools and/or hoists. Weigh parts and log appropriately.
Essential Responsibilities, Duties, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
· Ability to use a variety of hand/power tools
· Ability to use hoists
· Work with in safety standards
· Remove parts from molds
· Weigh and record part weights – report variations to supervisor
· Work to assigned schedule
· Cause limited to no defect in product
· Relocate parts and supplies into and out of pull area
· Ability to identify parts and their individual pull procedure (air, prying, wedging)
· Inspect molds and parts for cracks/blemishes/small holes etc. Report defects for repair
· Basic reading skills
· Basic writing skills
· Basic math skills
Non-Essential Responsibilities, Duties, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
· Drill holes/cut flanges on parts to allow for further assembly
· Enter accurate weights in computer system
· Ensure parts are cured before pulling
· Bring dollies in
Essential Physical Requirements:
(May be repetitive in nature)
· Stand - Walk - Squat - Kneel - Bend/Stoop - Climb -Twist - Reach - Grasp
Lift (max weight lifted 60 lbs unassisted)
Push/Pull (max force 60 lbs unassisted)
Working Conditions:
Occasionally works in or is exposed to: non-weather related heat/cold/humidity, vibration, chemicals, risk of electric shock. Use of respirator may be required.
Frequently works in or is exposed to: fumes, gases, odors, dust, dirt, outdoor weather conditions, and working near moving mechanical parts.
Requires ability to use a respirator
Noise Level: Moderate to very loud

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $19.75 per hour
