A well-established regional firm in Houston is hiring a Litigation Associate to join a genuine trial team.
What you'll be doing:
- Handling general liability and commercial litigation matters
- Managing your own caseload from intake through resolution or trial
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal memoranda
- Conducting legal research and building case strategy
- Arguing motions and appearing in court for hearings
- Taking and defending depositions
- Communicating directly with clients, carriers, and opposing counsel
- Leading or assisting in mediations and settlement discussions
- Preparing witnesses and case materials for trial
- Managing cases with real day to day responsibility, not just support work

Essential Experience
- Active bar license in Texas (or able to waive in)
- 3+ years of litigation experience
