Sunshine Acres Boutique and Donation Center is apart of Sunshine Acres Children's Home. A non-profit located in Mesa, AZ that has served over 2,000 children since opening in 1954. In compliance with DCS regulations, Sunshine Acres Boutique and Donation Center and Sunshine Acres Children's Home require clear background check and drug screenings. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Wheel finished cart out to retail zone for team to place on the floor.
- Sort merchandise (Hard or Soft) as needed to increase pricing product flow.
- Alter pricing on certain departments as determined by Assistant Processing Manager & reporting.
- Keep a constant flow of merchandise flowing and help maintain the pace as established by the Prodcution Manager.
- Is able to daily perform any of the required job duties within the processing team. This includes all requirements related to accepting donations, presorting and pricing merchandise.
- As needed, welcome donors in a timely manner in a way that they feel confident that Sunshine Acres appreciates them and understands their value.
- As needed, handle the receiving and donation process with the utmost respect and care including, greeting the donor, assisting in unloading donations, telling the Sunshine Acres story, repeating details back to donor and issuing a receipt.
- Help maintain clean and well-organized reception, pre-sort and processing areas.
- Maintain clean and well-organized personal processing station.
- Ability to recognize quality merchandise and effectively seek guidance on pricing from Production.
- Always keep merchandise flowing. If you are running low on carts, communicate with the Production Manager to increase flow and jump into sorting.
- Keep a positive attitude & work as a team to hit the overall processing goal!
- You must use the pricing guide provided to label all merchandise (bulk, specialty items, and small items are exceptions.)
- Any quality control issues please report to APM.
- Personal cell phone use is to be kept to an absolute minimum and must be done away from the processing floor.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to access web sites to help evaluate the value of donated items.
- Ability to read and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or oral form.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED required.
1 years’ experience in intake, warehouse, or processing work required.
1 years’ experience in a team lead position required.

Moderate physical activity. Depending on location, this position may require frequent strenuous activity. Able to lift at least 50 pounds. Use hands to lift, sort, clean, organize throughout a standard workday. Depending on location, this position may work in a warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure throughout the workday. Will have to wear name badge.

WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
Full time, Monday through Saturday, 40+ hours per week. Some Saturdays are mandatory.
Attendance at specific meetings, off-site events, or training, as required.

You must be professional at all times and assist with disputes or issues as they come about. If customers become irate and demand to speak to someone higher follow the customer complaint procedure and contact your supervisor and the Director of Sales.
