Are you passionate about coffee? Honolulu Coffee is looking for a new AM Bakery Driver. This is a very unique shift that starts at 3:30AM - 11:30AM. Early to rise, and then you have the rest of the day all to yourself! This is a part time position, you must able to work from 3AM - 11 AM. (Friday-Sunday). You may also be asked to cover coworkers shifts as needed and vice versa.
Our ideal candidate is personable, learns quickly, takes pride in accuracy and pays attention to details.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Safely operate a motor vehicle at all times
- Inspect and maintain vehicle and all related equipment, putting in repair requests as necessary
- Safely and carefully transport, load and unload product to and from bakery and café locations
- Communicate in an open and clear manner with production and cafe team
- Ability to manage time and routes for a streamlined delivery schedule
- Verify shipping loads to paperwork and obtain signatures for materials at delivery
- Relay feedback, including concerns, complaints, damaged deliveries and returns, whenever it is presented
Requirements for this position include:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- MUST have a clean driving record, clean drivers abstract, and undergo a criminal background check and drug test
- Two years driving experience preferred
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather, route changes, etc.)
- Keep vehicle in clean, good, and working order
- Valid driving license
- Strength to lift up to 75lbs plus bending and twisting
- Work well independently and within a team
- Must be able to read and understand English, some computer knowledge is preferred
