We are seeking a detail-oriented Verification Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will work alongside legal representatives and families to help elderly clients obtain Long-Term Care Medicaid benefits. Your primary responsibility will be verifying financial information, gathering required documentation, and ensuring all asset and income records meet program requirements.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys investigative work, financial documentation, problem-solving, and managing complex cases with accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Obtain and verify financial records from banks, investment firms, insurance companies, government agencies, and other financial institutions.
- Request, track, and follow up on asset and income verification documents.
- Review financial records for completeness, accuracy, and Medicaid eligibility requirements.
- Coordinate with legal representatives, financial institutions, and clients to resolve documentation issues.
- Prepare, submit, and monitor required financial forms, including:
- Account surrender requests
- Death claim forms
- Ownership and beneficiary change requests
- Income verification documents
- Asset transfer documentation
- Other financial and legal forms as required
- Maintain detailed case documentation and monitor outstanding requests through completion.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining strict confidentiality.

Preferred Experience
While not required, experience or familiarity with the following is highly valued:
- Investment products (IRAs, annuities, brokerage accounts, mutual funds)
- Life insurance policies
- Banking and financial documentation
- Financial services, accounting, banking, insurance, estate administration, or legal support
- Medicaid eligibility or asset verification
A college degree is not required. We value intelligence, professionalism, integrity, and the ability to learn complex financial concepts.
